Hidden files

How do you make the displaying of hidden files in Dolphin (HH 8.04) a permanent setting? As soon as I change the view (via Dolphin menus) to display them they become hidden again once I browse away. Kind of frustrating. A search revealed it was possible in an earlier version, but it wasn't specified how.

You probably need to go to Dthreelphin Preferences, and on the General tab enable Save view properties for each folder.

I must admit, i don't use it very often, Konqueror seems more.... intiutive.
