Kubuntu install

    Kubuntu install

    Hi I've been trying to intall kubuntu on my laptop and it keeps hanging up in the middle of "Copying remaining packages to hard disk".
    Any idea what could be causing this?

    Are you trying to install the Kubuntu 6-06 beta? If so, don't. Either install Kubuntu 5-10, the currently stable version or wait a month, or so until 6-06 goes stable.

      Or..........

      install 6.06 Beta2 (install CD, not Live)

      It has been fairly good to me for the past 6 days..........
