i just installed kpersonalizer (Desktop Setting Wizard) and haven't a clue where it is since i don't see it in the k-menu

I don't know that package, but did you try Alt-F2 "kpersonalizer" with no quote marks? -

...came up and i was able to configure it but still can't find it in any menu...at least i know i can access it this way now. Thanks!

If you want it in your menu right click the kmenu, go to menu editor, choose the folder you want it in, press the plus sign, give it a name and under command put kpersonalizer there.Comment

ended up removing it...prefer tweaking thru system settings. But this is good to know about k-menu editor - thanks jk4yComment
