Can't open Adept-manger

I was installing the restricted Kubuntu files to see if I could get the DVD player to work in Kaffeine. So when I click on the Adept manger program it opens up and it gives me the error in the photo. It's attached to the message. Please help thanks

Try issuing the following in the terminal mode to see if it clears up your problem:

sudo apt-get -f install
sudo dpkg --configure -a

Run the command you are prompted to run in super user mode ($sudo)

Super User DO = sudo

So, what you need to do is issue this command in the console:

sudo dpkg --configure -a

Run the following in the terminal mode :

$sudo dpkg --configure -a

No problem as we all started at the beginning

Click on the "VCD" button......and, follow what happens.
I did, and it worked for me.
