problem: Can't get kubuntu 8.04 to connect on my wireless desktop. Puppy 3.01 and xp both find it, but KNetworkManager shows "No Active Device". I've tried booting from the LiveCD per How to Solve... on this forum, get the same result. Also tried variations on manual configuration, no joy.
It's an RT2570 card, recognized as rausb0 by Puppy. Right click on Knetworkmanager shows a link and bar graph. Clicking on it, it goes through the attempt to connect, but fails. Instead of rausb0, I see wlan0.
