I'm a Kubuntu Noobie with some trouble.
When opening Adept Installer I get the following error;
"The APT Database could not be opened! This may be caused by incorrect APT configuration or some similar problem. Try running apt-setup and apt-get update in terminal and see if it helps to resolve the problem."
When running 'sudo apt-setup' in the terminal I get;
"sudo: apt-setup: command not found"
When running 'sudo apt-get update' I get a whole bunch of hits and then more errors about packages not being opened.
I read an older article of someone with initially the same problem but the solution there did not solve mine. Does anyone have some suggestions to what is wrong and how I can fix it?
