    Delete Pidgin status

Do you use Pidgin? If I have create a new status, it seems that it will be permanent at there. Is there any way to delete the status?

Yes I use Pidgin. Do you mean accounts? They are not Pidgin "statuses" they are email addresses. The issue is not with Pidgin it is with the existence of the email.

What is your exact problem? Why can you not just abandon it?

Actually not a big deal. Just wanna know. Usually we can create status beside "Busy", "Away", "Away for lunch", etc, etc. If I have created too much statuses, the list at there will be crowded. As I have said, it is not big deal. Want to know only.

        Now I understand.

Pidgin by default only has 6 "statuses" - Available, Away, Do not disturb, Invisible, Offline and I'm not here right now. You can create and save New Statuses - but you can delete these.

I'm sure that your list will not become overcrowded.

Make sure you are "Available". Click on the Status bar at the bottom. Click on Saved Statuses. The Delete button is there. Highlight the stuff to be deleted. Watch the "Available" line to make sure it hasn't gone to Offline...
