Use Kubuntu to defragment windows partition

Can I use Kubuntu to defragment my Windows partition(NTFS)?
If yes, how can I do it?
    Thanks.

I don't think so. Defragmentation is something specific to a certain file system. While Linux can read and write to ntfs I'd be more than surprised if some hacker actually went through the pain of writing code for it!

Yeah, I think you're right. I tried moving files between partitions but it not works.
I feel like Windows is cutting my files into pieces.

I don't think there are any program running in Linux for that. But, maybe you can try to run windows program in your Kubuntu through Wine
        Btw, is that dangerous ?

Why not use a Windows program to defrag Windows?

Re: Use Kubuntu to defragment windows partition

NTFS was developed by Microsoft -- ntfs-3g allows Linux to read and write to the NFTS filesystem. But I would not expect a Linux package to be able to manipulate the filesystem as, for example, to defragment it.
