I can't add my collection in Amarok

I've just started using Kubuntu and I've tried to add my cd files to the Amarok collection using the settings >configure Amarok > collection . However, when I do I keep getting the message.

MySQL reported the following error:
Access denied for user 'howhow'@'localhost' (using password: YES)
You can configure MySQL in the Collection section under Settings->Configure Amarok

I'm very new to this and any help would be great.

i use sqlite so i haven't tried it
