    Ftp server

I am running hardy, and want to set up a FTP server so my kids and I can share files over the miles. So far, I've installed filezilla that I found using adept, but it just appears to be a client. I would appreciate some guidance as to what is a good server, but still easy to configure. I have done a net search on how to set a server up, but not one that is newbie friendly. Any ideas?
