    Kubuntu login screen invaded

Ok so I am running Kubuntu KDE 3.5.9. I installed Xubuntu as a second desktop but I primarily use Kubuntu. Anyhow, xubuntu took over my login screen so I un-installed it thinking my login screen would go back to the Kubuntu template. However, it did not, it shifted to the ubuntu login screen template.

Now the issue I have with this is I downloaded a theme I wanted for my login screen and it is KDE since I use Kubuntu primarily. Unfortunately, for whatever reason the other desktop environments are overriding it and I am stuck with the Ubuntu login screen.

Hopefully somebody can shed some light into what is causing this irritating issue.

    Package xubuntu-desktop:
    Depends: gdm
=> it will install GNOME display manager

You can easily change default display manager:
    Code:
    sudo dpkg-reconfigure kdm
    or/and
    Code:
    sudo dpkg-reconfigure gdm
And choose your favorite display manager (and login themes).
    Before you edit, BACKUP !

Thanks! That is exactly what I wanted. That was so frustrating for such a simple solution
