    best filesharing p2p

What is everyone's opinions on the best filesharing program there is out there for linux? I was using Ares on windows, which I liked better than limewire, frostwire, kazaa, and morpheous (just to name a few)

Is there anything like Ares for linux? I'd prefer not to run anything through WINE as I have had poor results running progs through that.

i've tried limewire, frostwire, apollon and KML Donkey before. while limewire and frostwire worked for me, (but sometimes they behave oddly) i didn't like them. apollon and KML Donkey on the other hand, needs lots of configuration which i can't figure out.

i'm now using Ares though wine. it works very well so far. only thing that doesn't work for me till now is the "preview" function.

so i suggest using Ares through wine, since it is your favorite software

Personally, I only use torrents. P2P apps have too much junk and spam in their networks.

I like ktorrent, and use Moblock to keep my peer guardian type ip blocking lists up to date. I tried a few of the ones previously listed but ktorrent is my favorite.
