Hi, I removed the partition Kubuntu was on (to try the new Fedora Core 5, Which I dont like), so I decided to reinstall (Kubuntu) , but im having a problem, when I put in the DVD (I downloaded dapper-dvd-i386.iso abecause I lost my old DVD that I burnt about a month ago) I get the menu asking if I want to boot live or install to hard drive, if I go to install hard drive it says
"blah blah ok booting the kernel"
Then
usb1-1: device not accepting address 2 error -71
so, first thing I tried was removing all my USB devices, now it doesnt do it but the install just stops at "Ok booting the kernel".
I have checked the ISO, all seems fine, reburnt a couple of times But nothing seems to help.
Any help much appreachiated as Kubuntu has been my fave distro ive tried so far (im currently finding the one I think is right for me, and so far Kubuntu has been the best)
Oh yes and I checked google, I found a lot of results for the error message, but not with "Kubuntu" in the same search string, so I thought rather than finding something only partially relevant ill ask about here were its total-kubuntu
