Yet another problem - NO TITLEBAR

I do not have a titlebar and I can not move windows. Any ideas? Thanks for your time.

what happens if you run:

kde-window-decorator --replace

did you change your window decoration?

To be honest I don't know. I am totally new. I was playing with compiz settings and that probably did it. I am really trying to become a linux user because I believe in the OS. But I am having so many issues and my patience is about over because my ability to use this machine is imperative both to work and school. I will be forced to go back to windows if I don't get help soon.

Search on "missing window decorations" -- there are a million posts already.

If

kde-window-decorator --replace

doesn't work, try

kwin --replace

K Menu -> System ->Desktop Effects.
Reset it to No Effects. Click Apply

Your Titlebar should return.
set it back again if you wish ...

Your lspci post (from your post)
states you have intel 965 graphic card.
Its not really as good compared to having a Nvidia one for Compiz.
so I suggest to try a lower setting for compiz.

I have that same graphic cards on some of the machines I administer and it does happen when compiz. is on
