i've spent so many hours for this but i can't seem to find the way. how do i disable the hover effect on windows? this is the kind of effect in which a window automatically gets selected when a mouse points on it. help pls..

Well, that is one of the first things I change to
But you can switch it off... Go to systemsettings - window behaviour - first tab called Focus - drop down menu change to "click to focus"
