Where can I download Synaptic PM as a stand alone file?

    Where can I download Synaptic PM as a stand alone file?

    Really prefer Synaptic over Adept, but trying to download it using dialup is too difficult. Where would I find a stand alone .deb download. I have broadband at work. Thanks.

      You could search and download the K/X/Ubuntu packages from the Ubuntu Packages

      As the Synaptic is a GTK application it needs also:

      The easiest way (i think) is to download the DVD version and install packages from there > FAQ: Kubuntu without internet connection
