Streamripper/streamtuner how to end a recording?

When I was in streamtuner, I selected Xiph>Hot Mix Radio Funk, and a terminal opens up saying that is ripping the files.

My problem is that I want a single terminal to show and when I'm done I want to close the terminal (hence, the closer of the recording).

I have tried clicking the 'x' on the terminals, but they don't close. How do you end a recording?

I am just guessing here:

"ctrl + c" or you could kill it with the killer "x" which is enabled with "ctrl + alt + Esc" press "Esc" to disable killer "x" ;-)

Left click on the terminal window with the killer "x" and the app should die :-)

I can confirm "ctrl + c", haven't used other ways.
