OpenGL: What is it and do I have it?

    Hey Guys,

I wanted to do some DVD editing with my computer. Its a dual-processor 2.0 Ghz. I am looking into get Cinelerra, but on the download section it gives several types of downloads, including one for OpenGL and one without OpenGL. I just recently upgraded to a new computer. My last computer was a Pentium II 366 Mhz that didn't have this technology, so i really don't know what it is or if i have it. My video card is a Intel® Graphics Media Accelerator 950 and i don't know if OpenGL is built into the card or into the operating system. I have the latest version of Kubuntu (Hardy Heron). Can you advise me on which version of Cinelerra to get...or at least find out if i have OpenGL capabilities. Thanks for your help.
