    configuring the panel

    When I minimize a window -- like say, Firefox -- to the panel, the text says "Firefox" in faded letters, almost invisible, in fact.

    How can I make the letters darker, more visible?

    For security reasons I refuse to install firefox. But I am sure its great for those that don't care much about people spying on you constantly and screwing with your header adress bar.

    Wonderful this KDE platform is!

        If you're using KDE 3.5.x -

        Right click on the taskbar, and select configure. Click the taskbar button in the left pane of the resulting dialog box. You should see a checkbox for "Use custom colors". Check that and you can configure the one you've mentioned.

        You can also find this in the KDE Control Center...
