Revise with new problem- KBFX Menu has no rights to log out/shutdown

A simple save session worked to remove the other toolbar that appeared at the top of the screenshot.


I want to use the KBFX Menu as my menu style, but when I try to use the 'log out' button nothing happens. However, if I configure KBFX and choose the KDE menus style I can shut down.



I'm running KDE 3.5 if that helps.

what kbfx version are u using?

The kbfx version is .0.4.9.3.1.1.

If I switch off the kbfx spinx menu for the KDE menu, I can use that shutdown button.

did u download from the ubuntu repos or site?

I Downloaded the application from the Synaptic Package Manager.
