installation "error"

While booting, it will greet me with a boot menu. Then after pressing enter some text will scroll past. After that I get something which I guess is a menu, but I can't make anything out of it.

Why can't I see this menu? I could see the kubuntu logo when it started to boot.
Should I just try to burn a new cd?

I'm sorry, I don't understand you. What do you mean you "can't make anything out of it"? Please explain. Is the screen blurry? Does it fly by before you can do anything? Is it in a foreign language? Are the choices strange?

guess the fix haven been done in kubuntu, cause I downloaded it 20060412
