    I'm really confused between the Hardy Heron and the KDE4 Remix...

    Really your titles should probably be KDE3 or KDE4 that is the difference. At any rate, KDE3 is definitely more stable and usable for a daily work environment. KDE4 really looks great, however it has some things that need to be fixed. If you are into testing and helping out the KDE community get the KDE4 and let them know what goes wrong! If you need a stable work environment, go with KDE3 You can install them both side by side.

      KDE4 is still a work in progress as can be seen if you google: kde4, kde4.1
      The first really stable version will be out by july 29 and is called kde4.1. There will be a beta of kde4.1 for kubuntu HH soon. Well so we are told

      For installing both side by side there are plenty of posts here on that subject.
