    No network access.

I had internet connection, and then at some point while I was installing packages through apt I noticed my eth0 was down, and its unable to get an address.

I know at some point apt did a "Full Version Upgrade?"

I am not sure which version of Kubuntu I am running I just know that while trying to get my wifi to work ...I must have porked the eth0.

    Thinkpad T41
    Intel1000 Nic
    Atheros a/b/g wifi

    ..any help well appreciated.

    Re: No network access.

If you do a forum search, you will find information on how your
    /etc/network/interfaces
    file should be setup.

But first, try rebooting with your wireless off.

What should my /etc/network/interface file contain, it looks pretty bare.
