    Modem problem - connected?

I dual boot Kubuntu 8 with windows XP.

The modem is a Courier 56K, external, serial modem.

    It works perfectly in windows.

In Kubuntu, KPPP connects successfully (maybe?).

It -- seems -- to establish a connection, but then
I am unable to reach any website.

    Any suggestions?

Yes, I did find the answer.

And it's pretty amazing actually. At least,
      I find it amazing ...

Konqueror sucks. That's it. That's the answer.

The moment I download Firefox from another computer
and installled it at my Kubuntu machine, I was surfing
      the web with no problems.

I - still - cannot surf thru conqueror.

But thru Firefox and Galeon, a second browser I download,
      I can can surf perfectly.
