Re: md5sum check howto
Thanks very much but found this already. Another question: The md5sum of downloaded file is correct. I burned it at speed 2 with Brasero. When I boot the disk and ask for integrity check, it reports problems with 2 files. However, when I initiate Install, it seems to start out ok. Should I proceed with install, and if it completes successfully, what could go wrong because of the 2 bad files?

Re: md5sum check howto
It might finish installing, if the two damaged files happen not to be used for your particular system. But that's a risk of your time, to find out.
If possible, I'd try burning it again with a different brand of blank media. I recently had a bad experience with a "good enough" burn of a CD, which turned out to be not so good, and I wasted a lot of time and suspicion on my optical drive.
