    Install errors

    I am trying to install Kubuntu on older gateway and when it starts the install I get what seems like an unlimited series of errors.
    SQUASHFS error: unable to read page, black 12ee16bf, size 2cef
    SQUASHFS error: sb_bread failed reading black 0x4bb90

    anyone seen this?

    Which version of Kubuntu? How much RAM do you have in your PC?
    Windows no longer obstructs my view.

      Hardy and it has about 768mb ram.

        Strong likelyhood that the LiveCD you burned (or are using) has errors. Which LiveCD version of Hardy do you have: 32 or 64-bit?
