can't access webpages from local network

    Hi there,

Could anyone help me with the following:

I have two servers in my network: a kubuntu lamp server and a win2000 server.

    modem/router
    |
    -------------------------------------------------
    | | |
    testpc win2000 server lamp server
    |
    workstations

my workstations connect to the internet through the win2000 server.
I have one workstation (testpc) connected directly to the internet

the lamp server is working fine.

Now i am trying to reach webpages on the lamp server from my workstations.

When i try to reach the webpages using the public ip address i get a timeout. when i try to reach the pages from outside my network it all works fine. i think there needs some routing to be done.

the reason i am using the public ip address from my local network is that i configured oscommerce on my lamp server. When i try to access oscommerce pages oscommerce uses the public ip address in it's url's. when i use the internal ip address of the lamp server it all works fine.

Could anyone give me some hints on which device the routing should be done and what the routing should look like?

    thanks in advance
