Completely new to Kubuntu but I gotta say I love it. Slowly resolving issues but I can't get video on You tube in either Firefox or Konquerer. Spent all day in the forums and updates and tried everything but still the video does not load in firefox. Its worse in konquerer the thing crashes with an error message about an unknown plugin causing a signal 11(SIGSEGV). Can anybody help me please?

Re: Can't get You Tube video to play
For FF have a look in adept and see if flashplugin-nonfree is installed. If not install it.
While you are at it look for mplayer plugin.
For konqueror I am not sure because I hardly ever use it for the internet. But try looking for konqueror-plugin gnash.
I hope this points you in the right direction and welcome to the partyHP Pavilion dv6 core i7 (Main)
