Some basic questions. Please help.

I have a few guestions:

I'm trying to make my system more practical. No stupid routins, just functional and simple.

How do I set KPPP to connect autotatically at starup?
I use GPRS modem and connection works fine otherwise.

How can I set some softwares to start at starup?
Like in windows we have this starup folder.

Is there some typical command to open new app/window in fullscreen?
For example: xgps [someting]

How can I disble the autostart of apps from previous session (whitch were open untill shutdown)?

Startup routines are found in these two locations. One is specific to the user, the other is system wide.

/home/usershomefolder/.kde/Autostart

/usr/share/autostart

Hope this helps on that issue. Never have used KKKP so can't help there.

Hi. I can't help with the dial-up issue, but window size and placement is a snap (no pun intended).

Open the window to the size and position you'd like.

1) Left-click on the titlebar menu button and select "Configure Window Behavior".
2) Click on Window-Specific Settings in the left-side object tree.
3) Click the "New" button on the right side.
4) Add a description, then click the detect button, and use the crosshairs to select the window you want to manipulate. Then select the properties you need in the resulting dialog box. Use the "?" function to get more info...
5) Set the options you'd like on the "Geometry" tab.
6) You may want to look at the other tabs while you're there.
7) Click the OK buttons and you're done!

I use this for KMix and other windows.

Sorry, but I had a bad typo at the original post and I ment to use KPPP to establish GPRS connection, not KKKP

Well, not the first time to make bad typos...

I also managed to set KPPP to connect at startup:
A desktop shortcut with "kppp -q -c [account] -m [modem]" command to the starup folder.
