Kbuntu installed, fails to recognize network adapter

    Kbuntu installed, fails to recognize network adapter

    ran Kubunto off the CD. It did not detect either of my network adapters. Broadcom 570v gigabit Integrarted Controller is the other adapter.

    I then partitioned the disk, installed kubuntu and same problem.

    Any suggesstions.

    PS I posted this also in hardware support section, but since I am a newbie, I thought I should post this here also so repliers would know to explain things more basically,

    I neglected to mention the name of the other adapter: intel pro wirless LAN 2100 3a mini PCI adapter.

      I am not an expert with WiFi adapters as I don't own one yet.

      But have a look here:

      maybe that will point you in the right direction
