    home partition how does this sound?

    Ready for a fresh install, 80gb

    12gb/
    58.5gb approx home
    1gb swap
    512mb grub

    How does this sound? And is this the correct order to create them in gparted?

    No need to put GRUB on its own partition, unless you plan on installing/managing several Linux OS installations on the machine.

      how much ram do you have? I would probably go 20/50.....
