    Create Hyperlink shortcut in desktop

    Hi

I am new to kubuntu, In mandriva and ubuntu, i can drag a url address to the desktop from firefox and create a shortcut directly. I can't do this in kubuntu, the shortcut will just open up as a text file instead of opening the website i intend to open.

Is there anyway i can create the hyperlink? Thanks in advance,

I had the same problem. Solved it with the extension Deskcut:
