    Installing the official ATI driver for Radeon 9250.

    Any help would be wonderful or ideas.

    I get this:

    I figured out the problem. My card is too old. I need to older XSERVER. Where can I dl one?

      I have exactly the same problem as you have discibed with the driver install and probably have exactly the same card. However, I don't understand your solution.

      At the moment my monitor is working okay without the ATI driver installed. Will it be necessary or not to continue trying to install?
