I new to Linux! This is the first time me ever installing Linux Manuel. I have been a Windows user until VISTA became in the Picture 
and now wanting a change. I know how to duel boot Vista/ XP and etc,but not Linux. I want to duel boot Windows XP with kubuntu, but don't know how? I installed Windows XP first and tried to install Kubuntu 8.04 and portioned disk Manuel, but no duel boot ( grub menue ). When going back to the Kubuntu partitioner it shows ntfs partion, so its still there, but just can't get to Windows XP. May need to partion the disk different? I really don't know how to that with Windows XP. I don't know there is many different ways you can partion the drive with Kubuntu. I know Windows XP uses ntfs and fat32, but Kubuntu uses alot more then XP. I have never Manuel installed any of ubuntu and really don't know how to compared to Windows? Can someone please help! me out and how to duel boot Windows XP with Kubunt?
PS: Since I posted the this messege. I tried to start over by installing WinXP and then Kubuntu. Come to found out my Hard Drive has crashed now. It dosen't do anything now after trying duel WinXP and Kubuntu, except a clicking noise and can't get formating or write to the drive or etc just failing drive. I don't know what doing that caused the problem? I Will have to grab a new drive and try it again. Please help!
