KWeather __ Solved (I'm Even Dumber thanI thought I was :-) )

I'm running Kubuntu 8.04 (KDE 3.5.9) and have installed KDE Toys. I have added KWeather as a panel applet, but I cannot get KWeather to DO anything. When I elect to "configure KWeather" -- "Weather Service", I get a list of countries from which I am to select. However, when I select any country and click on "add", nothing happens -- in fact, when I click on any button nothing happens. I have uninstalled and reinstalled KDEToys twice now, to no avail,

Is there some required package that I am missing?

I didn't click on the little arrow in front of the country name!! . I tried to delete this little testimonial to my ineptitude, but couldn't. Please be kind.
