    xserver-xorg problem GIVING UP_ NEW QUESTION

    how do I remove X all together and then reload it? Hacking it just isn't doing anything


    I'm not having much luck over here

    i don't have experience with ati cards.
    i know they're a bit troublesome.
    found this.
    stick to the instructions for kubuntu.

    perhaps you want to move your current xorg.conf out of the way:
    Code:
    sudo mv /etc/X11/xorg.conf /etc/X11/xorg.conf.backup
    just in case it causes troubles like you posted in your other post...
