I'm using a 1.67 GHz PowerPC G4 with 1GB DDR SDRAM and am looking for a live CD with some type of built in video editing. I'm about halfway through downloading Kubuntu 6.06.1 Will that have video editing built in? Thanks for the help.

Re: PowerPC Live CD with video editing
I'm 99% sure that elive (http://www.elivecd.org) has video editing on a live CD...I think a donation is required to download, but there is no minimum donation...
I don't know that you'll have good luck trying to edit video from a liveCD though...maybe...let me know how it works...

Re: PowerPC Live CD with video editing
one thing though...it lists 'mac book', so I assume it is powerPC, but it never really says...at least that I can find...Dell Inspiron 1720 Laptop
Intel T9300 Core2Duo Processor @ 2.5Ghz
4 GB Ram | 1920 X 1200 Resolution
2 X 160 GB SATA HD Internal
Nvidia GeForce 8600M Graphics Adapter
Using Kubuntu 9.10
