help installing a program........

I downloaded kdm theme manager from here, http://www.kde-apps.org/content/show.php?content=22120

Its on my desktop. I opened it to my desktop. Now I am clueless how to install it. If you could provide a simple step by step "how to" I would sure apreciate it. Im new to lynix.

If you read the site it says:

A Kubuntu package is now in "Universe" so look for updates there.

So connect to the Internet, open Konsole Terminal Program and issue the command:

sudo apt-get install kdmtheme

Thank you that will forsure work no problem.

It still does not help me with what I am trying to learn. I have no idea why this is so tough to get someone to explain to me. Its either way to geeked out or, someone is trying to teach me a diffrent way. Make no mistake, you guys have helped tons, I have learned tons, I apreciate alot.

I simply want someone to show me how to install this program from the desktop with the terminal command. Make it simple and easy to follow.

I really don't know how to make it more simple. I speak in GENERAL!! But lynix users may know there stuff about lynix, but when it comes to showing someone a simple task thats new to lynix, there skills are seriously lacking.
