I just can not find a way to have access to my hard drives. In xp you simply clicked on the "my computer" icon. Just want to have access to my C drive files. Lynux is on my D drive. Thank you

You can find all your drives through the System Menu (in the default KDE installation, the button just to the right of the K start button, at the bottom left corner of your screen) -> Storage Media. Note that Linux refers to its drives by different names than Windows, but all the drives will still be there. Alternatively, you can use the Dolphin file manager (similar function to Explorer in Windows) - K Menu -> System -> Dolphin File Manager. In the left pane you'll see a list of "bookmarks" (common locations), click on "Storage Media".
