I'm trying to get a D-Link usb device to work with ndiswrapper. When I type the command sudo ndiswrapper -l ..... I see
Installed ndis drivers:
neta5agu driver present, hardware present
When I type iwconfig I see
lo no wireless extensions
eth0 no wireless extensions
sit0 no wireless extensions
When I check for devices in the KInfo Center under the PCI section, the D-Link device is not shown.
When I check for USB Devices in the KInfo Center one of my usb listings shows the
Manufacturer: Atheros Communications Inc
Serial#: 1.0
I have even tried to follow some information in another thread:

So what do you think I'm doing wrong? Is there some way to have ndiswrapper see the usb device verses a PCMCIA card. The comp in question is a Dell B120 notebook which does not have a PCMCIA slot, otherwise I'd use the D Link PCMCIA card that I use on a 4 year old Compaq notebook I have running Knoppix.
(By the way the Knoppix /D Link wireless setup works just fine.)
Any information on this would be greatly appreiciated.
