Need help please 8.04

Hello everyone

Lastnight I killed 7.10 which I loved so much and started 8.04 which seems to be given me troubles. I used KWiFi before without issues and 8.04 uses a Network manager which seems simple enough yet I cant connect. I thought it might be cause I missed typed WEP or something but after 12 times I doubt it So I then notice it might be cause the only option is WPA (no WEP) so i figure fine WPA is more secure so good time to upgrade so I go with WPA +AES so i retry setup no go again (WTF) so i figure I messed up on WPA settings so I upgrade PS3 to the same settings and it grabs a IP and Connection and WHAM!!! it working great with new settings......so I try network settings on Laptop again IBM R51 and freaknA still nothing

Any thoughts or help would be greatly appreciated

PS I cant find KWiFi any more is it gone?

I'm not much help, but when I go to System > Adept Manager and search for kwifi, it comes up as available for download/install.

Can you confirm you are using 8.04 cause when I was using 7.10 I also could see KWiFi available but now its not available ...also I am using default source list, can you also confirm whether you have edited your source list or not ...maybe I just need to add a repository

Problem fixed KWiFi is still available its just Adept manager doesnt find it if I type KWiFI ,,,,,I actually have to browse to it KWiFiManager
