    Rescue system

    Hello everyone,

    Could anyone advise me, what distro to use for the purpose of system rescue?

    What I need is:

    * fsck for all types
    * gparted
    * Ability to copy files from local harddrives to an usb flashdrive
    * Loads fast (optional)

    I don't want to use Kubuntu, as I basically don't need everything it has to offer. I need something fast in case something happens to any of the PC's I take care of.

    Knoppix is the classic.

    Some folks use/adapt Puppy.
