I have problem accessing recently formated disk. In some strange coincidence this disk is under user root and not me. How can i change this??
I get this error when trying to access it in KDE4:
org.freedesktop.hal.device.permission denied by policy:
org.freedesktop.hal.storage.mount-fixed auth_admin_keep_allways
Is all this connected to the fact that i formated this disk in ext_3 if that is the case in what format should i format it (ntfs)?
EDIT: I would really need an answer for this problem, because it's hard to look at 160 GB of free space which can't be used.
P.S.: In KDE 3.5.9 i can access it in dolphin and if I click open as root i can even add folders, the real problem is that I can't directly save anything to this disk or install. I wanted to use it to install games but wine gets error; because it can't access it.
