    Kubuntu Alternative question

I installed kubuntu alternative for building my own server and am having a hard time getting around. I was hoping someone would tell me if I can install KDE? If so, what's the command line to get it, install it, and when I am done disable it?!

    Thanks,

Confused. If you installed Kubuntu then you already have KDE installed - that's what Kubuntu is -- Ubuntu with a KDE Desktop.

I take it you installed the server version as a cli version?

The do sudo apt-get install kubuntu-desktop adept kdm and reboot.

      Hope this helps

        More info...
I appreciate the command line and will try it tonight after work. To clarify on what I installed it is Kubuntu-6.06.1-alternate.i386. I am using a HowTo from the website www.linuxloader.com that I find to be one of the best. Thanks again and I will let you know the end results.
