Hi all,
I've tried Ubuntu and had this "problem", I changed to Kubuntu but the same thing happens;
I have all my Thunderbird settings stored in a folder in a NTFS partition, so I can share it with the Windows OS.
Yesterday I installed Thunderbird and, when tried to point it to this folder, under the "choose folder" option, I couldn't navigate upper in the tree, it kept stucked in the typical linux folders, root, desktop, home, etc;
Under the regular Dolphin Window, I acessed without any problem the desired folder on the NTFS partition, copied the link and pasted it onto the "search" window on the Thunderbird setup, and had it working, so I have to say that in the end I solved the problem. But the question is: why couldn't I access the desired partition by browsing ? Anything wrong I did ?
The same thing happened when pointing Firefox to my already constructed custom folder on the same NTFS partition.
Thanks,
Mongo
