I've installed Kubuntu 7.10. I've also installed a Linksys router (WRT54G) and USB-adapter (WUSB54GC).
Kubuntu recognise wlan0 in the manual configuration. I marked the possibility to start the network up when I restart the system. When I do that another IP-address than the usual appears (169.254.11.212) and the standardgateway address is gone. When I retype my WEP-key and save the installation I receive an new IP an standardgateway. At that moment there is again connection with internet. What can I do so that the network starts with a permanent input.
