The other day I was printing some pictures and had them minimized, in the meanwhile, I got an update and installed it. Not thinking I clicked on "restart" and the computer rebooted. After that I could not access any peripherals on the USB other than my keyboard and mouse and I could not get online. The eth0 and eth1 ports were there, just not working. After several reboots with all peripherals removed and restarted, I ran the live CD of Gutsy Gibbon 7.10 AMD64. Well... everything worked fine under the live CD, so I knew it wasn't the hardware. I ended having to reinstall from the live CD. Does anyone know why the print queue took down the USB peripherals and printer (USB)?
I am not new to computers or trouble shooting, just Kubuntu. I used to run OS/2 Warp after DOS.
