Where can i look to find out what cool things i can do in linux this is my first attempt using kubuntu i like it my limits are i dont know what is what and what things do im looking for some cool sites just to learn why i should use linux

First, welcome to Linux and to the Kubuntu Forums. Second, as to "why i should use linux" well, that's reasonably simple - because you have more control (freedom) than you will ever get using Windoze. But it still comes down to choice - what OS are you comfortable with. Linux has a learning curve that is steeper than Windoze, especially if the user is not very computer literate.

Indeed, but the feeling you get after getting something to work properly is just awesome.

For me it was getting codecs set up properly 2 years ago. I felt good, like on ecstasy.

I am some what literate in winDOZ taught my self the basics in html and pretty much can solve most probs when windos goes down as usual . what im asking is there any cool sites that have some cool tutorials to ease someone into linux.
i like linux number 1 because its OS and help is only a click away and thank you for the warm welcome
