terminal not found?!

    terminal not found?!

    First of all, i have used only shell till now, im not quite sure do i even need terminal but when i try to launch it from menu error;
    Cannot launch entry

    Details: Failed to execute child process "Terminal" (No such file or directory)


    Also if anyone have installed internet explorer on linux (whatever reasons) where would i get packet what i can open with wine? sp1 doesnt work (i need it to install drivers to my logitech express webcam)

    Could you please rephrase this ? Perhaps be more specific ? I have no idea what you're talking about

    IE is a bit too involved with the windows many API's AFAIK. So it's hard to run under wine, see here:

      the problem was that i couldn't open terminal console but i fixed it alredy with "xfce4-terminal"

        Personally, I like the KDE konsole so much that I keep it open all the time on screen 1. You can start it from KMenu>System>konsole.

          This will change in Vista, when IE != Windows Explorer. They will be separate, so it may be possible to run IE in wine better in the future.

            You realize, of course, that there is a Linux distribution that uses the rendering engine in it's browser (Firefox) as a key component of a lot of the custom software it adds and modifies from standard Debian? I guess if it's good enough for Bill Gates it's good enough for Mark Shuttleworth.
