    Backup Question

What, in your opinion, is the most simple, best "canned" backup application for Kubuntu?

I have SBackup installed, and can install Keep instead, depending upon what you think.

When using Sbackup, I have a question...

There are the files to include, and those to exclude. One of the exclude items is /media/.

What if I wanted to back up one of my small external drives that is mounted at /media/sdd1, will the /media/ exclude it?

Should I remove the /media/ exclusion and instead, exclude specific devices, such as the cd-rom, etc?

Any help anyone can provide would be appreciated!

      Re: Backup Question

Teunis: "You could mount your USB disk at /home, that way it'll be included in the backup."

      Is that true? Using dd?
(Ex.: If you mount /home in the root partition, and dd the root to an image file, the /home will NOT be included.)
